Paris Disneyland

It is different waking up in a camp ground to waking up in a 4 start hotel! A short walk to the onsite shop brought beautiful, fresh croissants for breakfast- also a few groceries.
Soon we were on our way to Disneyland, Paris - along with the many thousands of others! Arrived around 11am. It took a little while to orientate, but soon we were off to explore the wonders. Lines for rides ranged from 25 mins for less popular, to about 45 mins for more popular. We tried to have a balance of a couple of family rides for the oldies and under 140cm (Hannah) and a few more adventurous. Hannah was able to go on a couple of these, much to her delight. Disneyland is not all about rides - but rather the atmoshpere. The highlight of this was most definitely the parade in the early evening - well worth the wait along the route. Then, along with the thousands we sought out somewhere to have dinner and decided on a steak house, where they assured us dinner would take an hour. This was much closer to 2.5 hours, which meant that there were to be no further rides that night (closing time 11pm) but we were all exhausted and ready to head for home by 10pm.
Trains at this time of night still run every couple of minutes, even from the outer area where Disneyland is located. They were all full, as was the Metro that we changed onto for the last couple of stops home. Families were returning from their day out - midnight seemingly quite an acceptable time for this to be happening.
I think we all crashed out, around that midnight hour - no sleeping pills needed! Just some foot rubs and Dencorub!
