Predicatably, our van is full of grass clippings the next morning! It is also full of the mosquitos that have buzzed all night, so today Bill insists we buy some fly spray. Not a bad place to stop, but a little further down the road there may have been better - and free, but this is always the way and we needed to stop.
Winding through mountains and valleys, passing loads of little villages we meander along at a slow pace - at times passing the Rhone River. In the afternoon it is getting really got again, so we find a supermarket (a short reprieve in the air conditioning to pick up supplies for the day) then head a little further down the road to park under a tree by a shallow river where a couple of men appear to be fishing for trout.
We are a couple of kilometres out of the centre of town and although there is a church, a restaurant and some housing around there is little else so we settle for a lazy afternoon of Sudoko or sleep before a short walk down the river.
Tonight we share the bottle of champagne we bought some time earlier, so enjoy quite a nice chat until bedding down earlier -around 9.30pm.
